Tories lose key Hampstead stronghold

At the by-election in Hampstead Town ward on 25 September, Labour ensured our vote was barely squeezed and maintained third place over the Greens, whilst the Tories and the Lib Dems slugged it out.
The Tories must be very disappointed that, with a vigorous campaign, they did not run the Lib Dems more closely, especially taking into account all the negative coverage in the press on ‘Arizonagate’.
Hampstead Town by-election

Camden Labour has selected well-known tenants’ leader from Russell’s Nurseries Larraine Revah as the candidate for the snap Hampstead Town by-election on 25th September 2008.
Larraine has lived locally since she was 13 years old, growing up on Finchley Road and schooled locally at JFS. Read the rest of this entry »
