Meet your 2010 Camden Town with Primrose Hill Candidates...

Councillor
Pat Callaghan

As one of the more experienced councillors Pat Callaghan has had the good fortune to represent the community in Camden at Bloomsbury from 1995-2002 and at present at Camden Town with Primrose Hill. As a local resident she has firsthand knowledge of the issues affecting our community and through her role as a local councillor she is very active in seeking solutions to improve the quality of life for residents within the area.

Pat gained invaluable experience working with diverse communities in her previous career as a nurse working within the NHS. With this background it was a natural evolution for her to become a public servant in such an exciting challenging place as Camden certainly is!

As a mother of five Pat is concerned with youth resources and provision and work closely with Castlehaven Community Centre, and she is looking forward to working with the new Youth Council, which is an exciting step forward in bringing youth issues to the fore in Camden.

Pat sits on the Health Scrutiny Committee and the Licensing Committee, she is proud to be a Governor at Primrose Hill and St Michaels junior schools. She is a board member of Novas Arlington and a Camden observer on the Camden Society. Pat relishes being on the frontline of Council activity and in this way can effectively meet the needs of individuals within her ward.
